Topcon LS-80x Receiver

The Topcon LS-80X is the latest product on the LS-80 platform.   The product has new design features that enhance the user experience in the field.  It is the replacement for the LS-80L.  This receiver works with all Topcon and most other rotating lasers on the market.

The LS-80X works with red-beam lasers to allow maximum efficiency in construction and surveying. When paired with the Topcon RL-H5A Laser, it offers an extended working range of up to 3,100 feet. The receiving area is over 2 inches and provides two accuracy modes—High (±0.04 inch) and Normal (±0.08 inch)—to ensure precise leveling and alignment.

For easy readability and versatility, this laser receiver features a dual LCD. It is equipped with an eleven-channel grade indicator, a detection precision switch that adjusts detection precision for more accurate readings, and an audible height alert to help make correct adjustments. This improved laser receiver comes with a rear-mounted speaker that delivers a louder tone, making it usable even on noisy job sites.

The Topcon LS-80X receiver operates for up to 120 hours on two AA batteries and features an auto shut-off function that turns the device off after 30 minutes of inactivity. For power monitoring, it has a battery-remaining display and a low-battery warning for the laser. With an IP66 rating, it resists dust and water.  It also has a rubber case for added protection, making it ideal for outdoor applications.
